Finally a sunny afternoon at Kodon after a while of cold and rain: perfect for fire mages and explosions. Lana walked in her usual gear down to the fire temple, hoping her new acquaintance Apriko would be waiting for her like they had agreed earlier during lunch. She really liked being able to get along with mages, and hoped they could help each other learn more. The plan was to simply show her around town and discuss a bit about fire and plasma science, but if they could come across Secrán and make two of her fire mage friends meet it would certainly be even better.
"Hoooola Apriko?" she poked her head in the temple where the girl was supposed to be taking classes in, hoping master Seraphine wouldn't come yelling at her for interrupting something.

Apriko brightened when she heard a familiar voice. She turned from her studies to see Lana by the temple's entrance. The girl jumped up from her desk and grinned.
"Ooh! Hiya, Lana..!"
Apriko waved, approaching her fellow dramaticsparklefirebuddy. "It's a super nice day today, isn't it?"
The girl looked back at her master, mouthing a few words indicating that she'd be leaving. After, she turned back to Lana and fist-pumped the air. "Alright-y! Let's go adventure now!"
Apriko tugged at Lana's arm, exiting the temple. "Adventure~ Adventure~"

Lana grinned very widely and sparkled as she took off her helmet. It was so nice having someone who was as excited over normal things as she was!
"You're right! kinda rare to see in winter, we should make good use of it!" she glanced back "I thought maybe we could take one of my prototype motorcycles, but then again that's not really legal and we would go too fast to actually pay attention to the city, so is walking ok?" she turned around and started walking towards the gates, playing with 1986s belt "There's lots of nice places to see! where should we go first? oh- I didn't interrupt your class or anything by the way, right?"

Apriko's eyes glittered when she heard the word 'motorcycle.'
The girl instantly felt a tinge of excitement. "Riding on a motorcycle super fast through out the city--Lana! That sounds wonderful!"
She clapped her hands together imagining the ride, but then she shakes her head. "Right, right~ It's better to be safe than sorry! Let's walk for our journey..!" Apriko nodded twice, before following Lana towards the gate.
"Oho? Let's go to the..uhm..closest nice place there is from here! What're some things to see?"
The girl then grinned and waved her hand. "Ehe, no problem or nothin--I told master I'd be leaving so it's O-K~!"

Lana thought for a second. "Ummm well, downtown isn't too far away and they have lots of stores of all sorts there, not to count the street market. There's also the Dragon Order cathedral and a huuuge library, it's architectonic designs are amazing! But on the streets to the other side there's lots of nice cafes and tea houses and more artistic stuff, so dunno! if we hurry up maybe we can go around both, but to where first?" she personally didn't mind starting either way, as she was sure her friends were easy to spot and find anywhere. It was kinda their talent, after all.

Apriko paused. She cupped her chin w/ her hand and thought. "Huuh, both seem super fun..."
After, the girl giggled. "Y'know what? I'm kinda cravin for a snack, so let's hit the cafes and tea houses first!"
She started marching forward, until she suddenly stopped. "Ooh, right, right! I dunno the way--"
Apriko looked back to Lana scratched the back of her head. "I guess only you can lead the way, ehe~"

The girl grinned. Eido's parlor was that way, so she'd probably be finding the rest sooner than expected!
"Sure sure! I know where can we get nice food for cheap ohohoho" she nodded and quickly took the lead, motioning for Apriko to follow her. "Not to sound paranoid, but Kodon isn't exactly the safest city ever! so maybe you wanna keep like, an eye for pickpockets and stuff. I'll make sure to do so too!" far worse than pocket change stealing had happened to Lana in those streets already, but ever since she became strong enough she hadn't really worried about what could be anymore. "Ok so, that's the post office. That building over there is Fideos flower shop, his brother studies with us- Oh it seems its closed today."

"Ooh! Cheap~!," echoed Apriko. She skipped, catching up beside Lana.
The girl then tilted her head. "Is that so? Thieves, huh?"
She narrows her eyes, slightly becoming cautious. "Ooh. Thanks for letting me know, I'll keep a mental note~"
After, she gives a toothy smile. "But you're super cool, Lana...! So you can beat those bad guys w/ your stunning alchemist skills or somethin!"
Apriko then follows Lana's eyes to the flower shop. "Aah, I see--Ooh, maybe the guy went out for awhile! Y'know, b/c it's such a nice day?"

Lana chuckled "Thank you! You're super cool too, being able to use magic is amazing! So yeah if we're together we will be fine~" she gave a knowing smile, not really wanting to delve into what could have driven Fideo to close "I sure hope it's something nice like that!" she then stopped and pointed at some different stores. "Oh, these are the ones that let me pay in alchemy favors! Over there we can get some gooood ramen, and the bakery on the other side makes all sorts of cookies!" She sparkled as she looked around, spotting along the way two or three more places to recommend.

"Me? Cool? Hehe, what an honour~!"
Apriko's eyes wandered by the various stores.
"Ramen! I heard the grand master Benni likes that kinda stuffs right?"
Looking over to where Lana pointed, the girl tried familiarizing herself with the surroundings. She squinted at the bakery.
"Waah, cookies, huh? What kinds are your favourites, Lana??"
