Cherry Blossom Birthdays

Milo's muscles ached a bit as he walked towards the training pond, as he had had to train with double effort the day before in order to get Grandmaster Yushiko to let him have a free day. He had been running around since early, gathering the things he needed to finish the gift and quickly doing his best to put it together. Once he was happy with his work he set out for the pond, where he usually met with Akane after his class. It was her birthday that day, and he thought it would be a good opportunity to try and show all the happiness she brought to him. Checking Noda wasn't around, he stood by the side from which she usually arrived.

Akane hummed a little as she hurried to meet milo, she had met with katrina and ichii earlier that day and had already gotten a cupcake. as she hurried around the corner she spoted Milo and ran up to him, but slowed herself, realizing she must looks silly. "h-hello Milo!"

Milo immdeiately lit up and grinned as he heard her. He skiped up to where she was to lift her up with a hug.
"Akane! Happy birthday love!" he put her pat on the floor. "Sorry I couldn't meet with you before! has your day been good?" he stepped to her side and motioned for them to start walking.

Akane was beaming with happiness. "It's quite alright, and yes! it has been Katrina bought me a cupcake" She casually let her hand slip into his. "however i did wake up to a rather... unexpected sight this morning..."
